Small amounts can come from the environment. Larger amounts can be harmful. High caesium can affect the heart, nerves, and kidneys. Doctors use the test to find or confirm accidental or occupational exposure.
What symptoms suggest CAESIUM may be needed?
A doctor may recommend CAESIUM when a patient reports ankle or leg swelling, reduced urine output, frothy or foamy urine, persistent fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, persistent itching, muscle cramps, and high blood pressure.
